After a day of trekking the Great Market Hall and enjoying an exquisite cup or two of afternoon tea at the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest, sit back and indulge in the Gresham Tealeaves, a tea and alcohol cocktail using our exclusive Gresham Palace blend. Enjoy either at the bar or at home, whichever your fancy, and let your imagination “spirit” away to adventures of Hungary.
The presence of watermelon in this drink is a nod to Hungarian agriculture, alongside the pálinka-inspired Gresham Palace tea that we crafted in collaboration with Executive Chef Leonardo Di Clemente.

Grey Goose Vodka
Fresh ripe watermelon
Monin watermelon syrup
Fresh mint leaves
Aged lemon balsamico
Homemade Gresham Tealeaves “Lollypop”*

Yield: 1 Cocktail

Place the fresh Watermelon, the fresh Mint Leaves and the Watermelon Syrup into a mortar and muddle it until smooth.
Add the Vodka, the Gresham Tealeaves tea infusion, the Lime Juice and ice. Shake it well.
Strain into a chilled Martini Glass and add the Lemon Balsamico drops on top.
Stir with the Homemade Gresham Tealeaves “Lollypop” – or use a stir stick — and finally sprinkle the Gresham Tealeaves “Fragrance” on the top. A sprits of juice that accentuates the watermelon or Gresham Palace tea flavour will also do.
